With the number of people contending for readership, it’s harder to keep people following your blog. Getting people to your blog is a bit easier because it can be done by proper blog advertisement, however, encouraging them to bookmark your blog and follow your updates is not as simple.
Your first impact to your readers is your blog’s façade. Your blog’s appearance is significant because it’s the initial thing that your visitors see; your color coordination, the prints you used, even the size of the font and the line spacing contributes much to your readers’ effect of your site. Nonetheless it’s your site’s design that makes the largest plus almost instant impact on your readers. Most blogs are already built on blogging platforms, which mean that the encoding part has already been done for you; all you have to do is put together your arrangement as a template or theme. Most of your visitors will take action correctly to a well-designed blog which doesn’t look as if it came directly of a box or uncontrolled templates website. Using premade templates is all right, but coming up with your own defines you as a blogger. Generality interpret this as an effort to be notable and be inimitable. At first you might not have a lucid picture of what you want your site to look like so it might aid to build a copy of it on paper or on a graphic editor like Adobe Photoshop. To translate your design into something you can use on your blog, you might use tools like Sitegrinder or added HTML or CSS editor, depending on your stage of proficiency. SiteGrinder 2 lets you make your own website even if you are not knowledgeable about complex programming codes. But, as you design your website, bear in mind that some general regulations for site design can help you out. Here are few tips that you can apply when designing your site’s template:
- By no means use distracting patterns, graphics, or bubbly presents on your site’s background. One of the nastiest fault you can do on your website is to use sparkling gifs and dizzying patterns as your background.
- As much as possible, don’t use too much images on your layout so that readers won’t have a awkward time to insert it. Your readers won’t appreciate it if it spends your banner a minute or two to completely load; add to that the fact that most blog entries do already have images, and some even put images like keys on the sidebar. Sure, images make the site extra attractive, but there is such a thing as using over on your site. Try to learn how to employ CSS to your design to updated it; tools like Sitegrinder and other web designing software know how to help you out with that as well.
- Use fonts that will most apparent be attuned across various browsers and operating systems. Some are in the routine of applying pretty, custom fonts but this tend to crack the layout of the site when viewed by incompatible browsers or connections. You should must make sure that the size and color of the font you select doesn’t give people a hard time studying what you have on your pages.
Your site’s design is a statement of who you are as a web owner. Making sure that your site is well-designed and well-organized will pay off in faithful readers and frequent visitors.
If universal health care is so expensive?
then why do citizens of Japan pay less for their government run health care than the average American citizen pays for their medical insurance?
Japan: ~$280 a month per person vs America: ~$605 a month per person

People in Japan live longer, have universal health care and pay less for health care. Our system is broken and that is why health care reform is needed. Our costs are way out of line, we get less for it and don't live as long, not to mention the fact that tens of millions of Americans have no basic health care coverage at all.
The recent CBO analysis shows that the universal health care proposals currently being considered in this country will not be so expensive. 30 million additional people will be covered for $849 billion and it would reduce budget deficits by $130 billion over that period. It actually sounds like a bargain, relatively speaking. Hopefully, the final version of the reform bill will retain sufficient provisions to help keep down the cost of coverage at least.
