Some Basic Design Ideas for New Blog Owners
The blogging phenomenon is something that has been sweeping the internet for quite a while; people worldwide are creating their blogs and aiming to make their voices heard online. Keeping people paying attention in your blog is crucial whether you put it up just to rage about your love story or to tell people about how your company can help them. Promoting your blog is easy enough when you know how to do it but keeping a healthy readership is a totally different ballgame.
It’s important to make a decent impact to your visitors, more than ever those viewing your blog for the first time, by showing them a well-devised blog. Remarkable website design is made up of lots of sections. It determines much of what readers will think about your blog. A good thing about blogging in recent times is that nearly all blogs are built on blogging platforms to make updating its content and look easier; you can create a set of themes for your blog and easily change between themes with just a click. You might not observe in the beginning, but readers do appreciate it when a blog has a unique design which doesn’t look basic or doesn’t use themes that are downloadable off the internet. The last thing you fancy to do as a blogger who wants to promote his blog is to combine in with the crowd because your blog need personality. Most readers locate that a well-designed site signifies business, and that the owner put much contemplation into enhancing it. To come up with a good design for your blog, you have to have a plan about how it should look before you take a seat and try to make it. To interpret your design keen on something you can use on your blog, you may use tools like Sitegrinder or other HTML or CSS editor, depending on your stage of proficiency. SiteGrinder 2 lets you make your own website even if you are not knowledgeable about complex programming codes. When executing a design idea, it helps to keep a few useful points in mind. Here is just three of a long list of effective designing standards:
- Make your background work for your layout instead of utilizing backgrounds that are too busy and loud. The last thing you want is for your background to be in conflict with your site’s content, so don’t use loud colors and designs that are weary to the eyes.
- Don’t use visuals that are huge in heading size when designing your template, especially your banner. Don’t expect that all your readers will have the patience to stay until your gigantic site banner, huge blog entry photos, and various public notice banners load because most of them won’t. Constructing a website that has image slices will also decelerate the loading of the site so minimize the images as much as you can for relaxed loading. Combining HTML and CSS using web operating tools like Sitegrinder and the likes is generally easier and yields pages that take a shorter time to load.
- Use fonts that are compatible with all browsers and are easy to read. The point is to make sure your readers can read what you want to write on your blog, regardless of the browser or kind of computer system they are using. It’s best to have a simple background for the majority of your blog, a concrete shade for the body of your blog accounts, and dark-colored fonts for your content.
These design principles are basic concepts that work for a lot of people. Keep your site confusion-free and harmonize the great design with great content and you’ll see that more people will revisit to your site to check what more you have to offer.
