PS3 YLOD FIX QUESTION?

Okay, so i used a hot air rework station and changed the thermal paste so i could fix the ylod. But after i finished and put my ps3 back together, all it does is stay on longer but still has the ylod.What do i do?

Send it in to Sony. Not sure if they'll still even agree to work on it if you've already opened it up yourself, but if they do the rate is about $100-$150 to fix. Otherwise the only thing you may be able to do is try again, or kiss it goodbye.

My PS3 also gave out not too long ago. Decided to just get a newer model since I had the non-Slim version.
