if i use 63/37 rosin solder on a lead free ROHS board, will it affect anything?
aside from it not being ROHS compliant anymore, can it mess up the board or the circuit in any way?
I don't think so. I've used both leaded and lead-free solder on the same pcb's without a problem. (In my opinion, the leaded solder is easier to use, so I reserve it for the problem cases.) You might evaluate whether the rosin residue, or the chemical stripping of it, would present a problem for any of the components on the board.
The purpose of the solders is to bond to copper, and they all do that well or reasonably well.
