Hello framers and builders, im looking to buy a framing and a siding nailer but before i spent my money i would like to get some ideas from the professionals out there which nailer is the lightest and which one to avoid.

Porter-Cable makes a great nailer for your needs. The FR350MAG shoots round head nails, and the body is made of magnesium. It's significantly lighter than the standard nailer. Stick with your major brands, such as P-C, Paslode, Senco, etc. Duo-Fast makes a popular nailer, but they get gummed up easily and are a pain to strip. Hope this helps.
