do i really need to cap off a countertop?
The end butts up with the fridge and you can't really tell if it is capped. I figured i could just prime and paint and that should be enough to water proof it if something spills off the side. I don't think the cap totally seals the side that much anyway like paint would. I would also like to do this where the countertop meets the stove. Shouldn't primer and paint be sufficient.
