Make a Cat5 cable without a crimping tool?

So my dumb dog bit into my 200ft Cat5 cable and now I need to know if I can re-thread the cap without using a crimping tool. Is it possible and if so does anybody know how? Thanks a lot.

You can cut out the bad spot and buy a in line Connector. You can not add plugs to the Cat5 without a crimping tool. A repair shop would have the tool to crimp on two plugs for you and should do that cheap. Or you could buy another Cat5, they are cheap also..
