Saving Your Properties With Wireless Security Camera
Wireless security camera is the security camera that doesn’t need wires through the business or home, movable and useful for covert operations. The fitting of wireless security camera may be essential, but takes time and labor to run wires and repair something using soldering iron station especially Weller soldering irons from the point of fixing to the monitor or recorder. Also, the possibility to catch a person conducting themselves in an illicit manner may be lost. Wireless security camera can be set up in minutes, without the muss and fuss of wiring.
Wireless security camera has two types. The first is the one that works by using batteries and the second is the wireless security camera that requires the power source connection. The wireless part comes in by not having to run a coaxial cable between the camera and a receiver linked to the video recorder. It will save the time, since the power source can be put close to the point of camera installation.
While for secret operations, a battery powered wireless security camera can be set up in a hidden position and the receiver connected to a laptop computer, hidden nearby. The recording images on the laptop will become the proofs that will be needed in trial. Further, wireless security camera can be used on a temporary need or for the special moment or event, for example in traveling and feel the need to know the situation on the ground outside the hotel room.
Changing Frequency to Stop Intrusion
Just like other wireless equipments, there will be people that will try to intercept or block the signal from a wireless security camera. A lot of cameras make use of the technology that facilitates them to convert the frequency on which the signal is broadcasted to slow down, if not entirely deter the capability to discover and block the frequency.
A wireless security camera which is functioned by using the battery has the bad side. You need to change the batteries habitually. Several experiences show that the batteries will be all right until there is an event during which the wireless security camera is really demanded.
Wireless security camera that use an external power supply has the bad side. It cannot be brought everywhere (portable). Every individual certainly has their own deliberation in determining the kind of wireless security camera that is best fit with their state and necessities.
If my wall converter makes 9Volt 300mA, will I burn out something if I add a 9volt battery in parallel?
I have a Phantom power box for a microphone (microphones can be VERY expensive). The box is only $40. I wanted to make my power box run on a battery. w/ A/C backup.
It currently runs on A/C wall wart. It converts it to 9Volt 300mA, and puts it thru the box.
I want to add a 9volt battery w/ switch to the solder points of the Power inlet. That way I can go w/o the A/C if I need too.
The Radioshack guys said that the equipment will 'draw' the amps as it needs it, so It doesnt matter if the 9 volt battery is 'on' at the same time as the A/C is plugged in. It wont hurt the equipment. (in case this happens by mistake).
Is this true? Is there any potential things I am missing?
An "accident" means that your microphone will see 9 V and about 600 mA.
It is correct that the microphone will only draw as much as it needs.
By the way, a typical 9V battery provides about 300-450 mAh, so your battery pack is not going to last too long (about 1 hr).
Question: Why connect it in parallel and not simply create a separate battery pack? It does not seem to provide any benefit outside of reusing the same connector.
