A complete check up for my used swift?
Hi All,
I have recently purchased a 2005 Maruti Swift Vxi with odo reading 52000km and changed engine oil,air filter,oil filter,clutch assembly.Now the problem is my car is unable to go beyond 120kph and the pickup is also less so I am planning to get a complete check up including ecu scan,injectors cleaning etc but since I am a new driver so do not know much about engines so can somebody tell me what to be checked and replaced to get this issue resolved.
the only thing you can do is the tune up. including the spark plugs and wires but it sounds like you already have done the tune up but the car's effort to run didn't get better??? or did it get worse ? whats ur question exactly?
there is not much you can do other than tune up. spark plugs and wires , fuel filter. change the caps and rotors of the distributor. air filter.
52K. is really low. so i am assuming that there is nothing wrong with this car and i'm also assuming that you probably have 1.2 1.3 liter engine and that engine is not power full to pick up it's weak , it's small it's good to save you on gas. it's not easy for this engine to accelerate as fast as you think.
so i'm sure it will go faster than 120Kmh but takes longer .
